We work with care organisations, people who need care and support and carers, and other partners to make sure our activities reflect their needs.
Whether you're part of a large care provider, a new business expanding into social care or a person who directly employs a personal assistant, there are many opportunities where you can contribute to our ongoing work.
Take part in research, responding to consultations, providing case study examples, commenting on draft products, co-producing new policies or agreeing to be a study site.

Support the re-development of digital modules
Skills for Care is re-developing our ‘Digital learning for managers’ modules which support the development of new and aspiring managers. They’re based on the Manager Induction Standards and offer an introduction to key topic areas.
We’re looking to recruit aspiring, new and experienced managers to test the modules so we can ensure they’re engaging, fit for purpose, and will support new managers’ development. You can commit to testing as many, or as few, as you like. The modules include:
-
Supporting and developing teams
-
Personal development and wellbeing
-
Leading and managing in adult care
-
Managing resources
-
Learning and innovating
-
Communication
-
Working in partnership
We expect each module to take around 40-60 minutes to review, plus a 15-minute survey after each one. Modules will be sent mid-April and you’ll have two weeks to complete and review them. Certificates will be issued to reviewers for every completed module providing the survey is also completed.
